The history of Marina di Imperia is deeply intertwined with that of its two historic souls: Porto Maurizio and Oneglia. The former, with its Parasio promontory, has been a lively economic and commercial center since medieval times. Oneglia, located on the plain at the mouth of the Impero River, has a long history linked to oil production and maritime life.
Marina di Imperia has grown over time, becoming one of the largest and best-equipped ports in the Mediterranean. Our historic port has seen the birth and growth of the olive oil trade and has played a central role in the region's historical events, spanning from Roman times to the present day.
Recently, we have undertaken a large modernization project to maintain our status as a cutting-edge marina, with the addition of new urban spaces that improve the connection with the city and enrich the range of services, from the yacht club to shops, always maintaining the utmost respect for the surrounding environment.

REGULATIONS
Go Imperia S.r.l., an in-house providing company of the City of Imperia, manages services of general interest for the Municipality of Imperia (entirely public capital) related to the use and protection of public real estate assets functional to the implementation of mobility and local economic and cultural development policies.
For this reason, Go Imperia S.r.l. aims to raise awareness and enhance port activities, revitalize traditional activities such as ship repairs, and encourage new added values to create a general awareness of the economic potential that Marina di Imperia can develop for the City.
